Cambridge Fencers constructs timber pergolas in Haverhill, offering residents of this expanding Suffolk town a locally-based, directly-employed building team.
Haverhill has seen significant residential development since the 1960s London overspill programme, and a large proportion of its housing stock consists of post-war estates with semi-detached and terraced properties, alongside more recent private developments on the town's eastern and northern fringes. These modern estates tend to have standardised garden sizes that suit a mid-size pergola structure perfectly - enough space for a 3m x 4m frame with room to spare.
We use pressure-treated and hardwood timber and build everything ourselves without subcontracting. Haverhill sits toward the southern edge of our operating area, and we cover it regularly alongside villages like Sturmer, Helions Bumpstead and Little Wratting.
